Harold Knight & Bernie House
Ties and More Ties Wow! Not only did today deliver the first ever SBA tie, but it gave us TWO ties. Tied
for 4th place with a weight of 14.48 lbs. were the teams of Jim Dillon & Ransome Andrews and Terry Pryor & Flipper
Copeland. Tied for 10th place with a weight of 11.61 pounds were the teams of Calvin Cothron & Danny Helm and Marty
Horn & Reggie Gist. The tied teams were no match, though,
for Bernie House and Harold Knight who weighed in a whopping 19.08 lbs. of fish to take first place in today's tournament.
Harold Knight also landed the largest single fish of the day. It was a beauty that weighed 5.57 lbs. Congratulations
to all of today's winners. We look forward to seeing everyone on Old Hickory Lake in August. ///

Jim Dillon's Big Catch
Priest's Heat Sweltering is pretty much the best way to describe
conditions on Percy Priest Lake today. The intense heat and thick humidity played a big role in the size bags weighed
in during the fourth stop on Senior Bass Angler's tournament trail. Despite the heat, a few teams managed to weigh in some very respectable catches. The teams
of Jim Dillon & Ransome Andrews, Ken Hesson & John Gaither, and Kimmy Perryman & Jimmy Clary each had bags weighing
more than fifteen pounds, while the team of Gary Clouse & Donnie McElvoy took first place with a whopping 24.16
pounds of fish. Landing the largest single fish of the day was Jim Dillon with a beauty that weighed 6.55
lbs. Congratulations to all of today's
winners. We will see you all next month on Lake Barkley. .....

Joe Rives' 6.52 lbs. Big Mouth
Big Lake Offers Big Take . Kentucky Lake offered
anglers a nice take in Friday's tournament. Darden and Tricia Nelms wowed the crowd with their 19.87 pound stringer
that included one particularly hefty small mouth. Bringing the second largest catch to the weigh-in was the
team of Doug True and Larry Boring with a bag of fish totalling 18.81 lbs. The single largest fish of
the day, a 6.52 pounder, was wrestled in by the team of John Grigsby and Joe Rives. The most interesting
catch on Friday though was made by Harold and Bonnie Troutt. For most of the day the pair culled five
fish, but when they transfered the precious cargo in their live well to the weigh-in bag, only four of the culling tags
had fish attached to them. That fifth culling tag floating at the top of their live well throughout the day was attached
to a bass of the invisible variety. No one is sure exactly how many keepers the Trouts culled back into Kentucky
Lake thanks to that floating tag . . . and they're certainly not telling.
Congratulations to all the winners at Kentucky Lake.
See you next month on Priest.

SBA Tackles the Hill!
As we had hoped, Center Hill Lake proved to be a lot of fun for our SBA teams; producing several
limits in today's tournament. Harold Isabell and Ronnie Rogers weighed in the heaviest five fish limit at a weight of
16.09 lbs. Landing in second place was the team of Ira Boone and Joey Andrews with 12.50 lbs. -- including the 2nd big fish of the day which weighed a very respectable 4.73
lbs. Michael
Brown and Alan
Wharton had the Big Fish of the day with their 4.94 lb catch. Most of the SBA teams really had to work to
haul in their catch, but in the end it turned out to be a great day on the Hill!!! Thanks to everyone who joined us.
We look forward to seeing all of you again next month when we tackle Kentucky Lake. Special thanks
to Debbie Wood and Tricia Nelms for helping out during weigh-in.
